1: Hypnotherapy Description
Hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation – a state where the conscious mind relaxes while the subconscious mind is fully aware and able to receive information on a deep level. This deep level of relaxation allows the hypnotherapist to work closely with a client to introduce positive suggestions to help improve the client’s situation.
The subconscious mind holds a wealth of information, and can help us understand why we respond to situations in a certain way. Hypnotherapy can be used to access this stored information, and can help a client to understand and potentially change their own unwanted thoughts and behaviours.
Hypnotherapy doesn’t just treat the presenting symptoms, it finds the real root of those symptoms and then builds from there.
