HPV VACCINE
The HPV is a vaccine that has been proved to reduce the number of cases of cervical cancer. (www.nhs.uk/hpv ) When girls become sexually active they become at greater risk of contracting cervical cancer, if the HPV vaccine is given before this happens then this will reduce the chance of them contracting cervical cancer.
