ENT surgeons are concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the ears, nose and throat.

Lumps in the neck, deafness, vertigo (dizziness), sinusitis, tonsillitis, ear ache, hoarseness and snoring are all commonly investigated by ENT surgeons.

Apart from a thorough examination and history, investigations often needed to make a diagnosis include; X-ray, MRI, CT and endoscopy.
